Tuesday, May 26th, 2009

The following article is taken from information in our ebook Exploring The Links And Dynamics Between Exercise And Body Type.  For more information click here.

Have you ever thought that you just don't seem to loose weight as easily as some?  Or you do the same exercise regime as a friend but they seem to put on the muscle and you don't?  There could be a simple reason behind this – your body type.  There are three main body types and the type of exercise and diet you have can have different effects depending on your body type.

Below I have listed the three types with information on their characteristics and the type of exercise and diet that suits.  Check out which type or combination of you are… (more…)

Looked In The Mirror Lately?

Tuesday, January 27th, 2009

For some it is Christmas, a holiday or a change in lifstype, for others it can be a gradual thing. However it happens, you can find yourself in front of the mirror thinking that those really are love handles appearing or putting on some clothes that thumb lose10poundsebook Looked In The Mirror Lately?suddenly seem tighter and you realise that you can't deny it any longer, you really have put on a little bit of extra weight. This is where 101 Tips To Lose 10 Pounds can come to the rescue.

For those of us working in kilo's we are talking about 4.5kg, so you can see these tips are more about little changes you can make to help tune your diet and exercise to get rid of those few extra kilos, it's not a diet plan to help you lose tens of kilo's.  Having said that I think anyone can incorporate these tips to help them live a healthy life.

Losing or maintaining a certain weight can be a challenge for some people.  This book says you 'control weight by input and exercise', something I think most would agree with.  I think there is a third element and that is mindset i.e. your attitude to your weight and lifestyle.  When I discussed our book on your metabolism in the October Newsletter I learnt how being stressed can effect the speed of your metabolism.  Similarly I believe other states of mind will actually have a bearing on how your body feels and is energised – however that is a whole topic on its own and for today we are just talking input (what you put in your mouth) and exercise.  So what are the tips… (more…)

October Newsletter

Sunday, October 5th, 2008

Our October Newsletter is out now and this month's book review is on The Complete Guide to Fly Fishing plus there are 10 tips from our ebook on How To Boost Your Metabolism.

If you have ever thought about trying Fly Fishing then The Complete Guide to Fly Fishing is a great place to start.  It gives you all the basic information you need, information on what to buy to get started.  Once you have the gear then it goes through some of the basics on how to cast and where to fish.  It sets you on the path to success and once there, with your fish (which are never as big as the one's that get away) there are even a few recipes.

Building on last month's review of How To Fit Exercise Into Your Busy Schedule, we reviewed our ebook on How To Boost Your Metabolism and have given you ten tips on how to do it.  Exercise is of course one of those, having breakfast is another.  There are lots of simple ways you can boost your metabolism, get your body into gear and feel more energy.

September 2008 Newsletter

Friday, September 5th, 2008

Our September newsletter was released yesterday and this month we looked at Feng Shui Decorating and How to Fit Exercise into Your Busy Schedule.

If, like me, you are not an expert in Feng Shui and don't know much about it then Feng Shui Decorating: More than just moving furniture is for you.  I found it really interesting to learn a bit of background about Feng Shui and where it comes from.  Then the book covers some basic principles taking each room in the house and giving you some ideas and principles to improve energy flow for that area.  The comforting thing I thought was that the book stressed that you shouldn't change something if you don't feel comfortable with it.  If you have ever had any interest in Feng Shui then I recommend this eBook as a great starting point so you can try a few things out and see if it is for you.

How many of us know we should exercise but use the excuse 'I don't have the time' and for many of us it may seem that way.  Have a read of How to Fit Exercise into Your Daily Schedule and you won't be able to use that excuse any more.  This book is full of ideas and ways to get your exercise without having to take an hour or two out of your day to go to the gym.  Checkout the newsletter for ten tips from the eBook or go to the web page to download a sample.

Check out the latest newsletter.  Find out what a cavoodle or a beaglier is and make up your own dog breed for a chance to win a free eBook.
